Philippe Bekaert is professor at Expertise Center for Digital Media (Hasselt University) and has a long experience of collaboration with artists, especially Eric Joris from CREW. Since 2003, they are working together on the production of interactive augmented reality performances, such as the famous "Crash" (2004) and Double U (HeadSwap 2008) where participants can experience out-of-body effects. For this Arts/Sciences lecture, they will present the various aspects of their collective research.
