Processing, Arduino, Wordpress, Drupal, openCV & PureData.

Launched in 2005, the Summer Digital Art Workshops continue for the 7th edition! This year they will be extended by 2 additional modules (Drupal and OpenCV) that complement the other 5 updated courses for an inspiring summer under the digital sun.

The proposed courses and modules address techniques and expressions used increasingly in visual arts, installations, performing arts, performance, audio-visual, or digital art (net art, art code, interactivity) in introducing practices based on open source softwares.

Introduction courses in 4 days:

Stage 1 : Introduction à l'Art du Code - Processing - 5-8 July 2011
Stage 2 : Introduction au Physical Computing - Arduino - 12-15 July 2011
Stage 3 : Introduction aux CMS - Wordpress - 19-22 July 2011
Stage 4 : PureData, une introduction - 8-11 August 2011

Advanced modules in 3 days:

Module 1 : Plateforme de contenu (CMS) - Drupal - 27-29 July 2011
Module 2 : Computer Vision - openCV - 3-5 August 2011
Module 3 : Vidéo temps-réel - PureData - 17-19 August 2011

Conditions of Participation

These workshops are open to any artist, art student, designer, graphic designer, videographer, programmer, teacher, hobbyist curious, active unemployed ... wishing to learn new creative digital tools. (18 ans or +).

Attention, this workshops are thaught in French, however they are open to people with basic skills of french (oral comprehension at least). The programming languages remain written in English...

3 days module: 105€

Attention : Register on time, the number of participants is limited (max. 15 persons). The workshops request a minimum number of registrations. Once it has, practical info for the payment will be send. Your registration is confirmed once your fee is paid.
