The Art&D project DarkMatr by Tom Heene and his team is presented at the E-Culture Fair during ISEA2010 in Dortmund, August 2010. DarkMatr was supported by 3 residencies (with public presentation) at iMAL in 2009.

This online archive is the result of a first effort to preserve our media art video documentation from 2000 to 2006 and share it with the largest audience. Thanks to Robin Foguenne, our current internship, wet digged into dozens of DV tapes to compile about 40 clips for a total duration of more than 3 hours in the best quality according to the original medium. Yves will represent iMAL at the Future of the Lab expert meeting organised by Baltan Laboratorires in Eindhoven, 30 Nov - 2 Dec 09. During 3 days, directors of about 20 media labs will debate future strategies and forms of the media lab and the importance of research and production spaces for artists.

From 14.11.2009 to 14.02.2010, the installation The Gate by Yves Bernard and Yannick Antoine will be shown at Buda Art Center Kortrijk in the exhibition Fantastic Illusions, with other belgian and chinese artistes in collaboration with eARTS-Shangai Festival.
