Het onderzoeksproject VIRAGE ontwikkelt methoden en softwareprototypes voor zowel kunst, of het nu gaat om podiumkunsten, beeldende kunst of installaties, als culturele industrieën. Het consortium bestaat uit kunstencentra, universiteiten en innovatieve bedrijven uit Frankrijk en België.

Iterations #2: I don’t know where this is going
2016

"I don’t know where this is going" is de tweede editie van Iteraties, een onderzoek naar de toekomst van artistieke samenwerking in een technologisch genetwerkte context. De tentoonstelling toont een collectieve installatie van Pascale Barret (BE/FR), Miriam Raggam (AT), Claire Williams (BE/FR), François Zajega (BE), Julien Deswaef (USA/BE) en Annie Abrahams (NL/FR).

Ter afsluiting van haar residentie met Rudi Giot, Lucille Calmel, & MARC (Limsi-cnrs) zal Pascale Barret een nieuwe work-in-progressversie tonen van haar project Beautiful Beasts. Dit project ging van start bij iMAL tijdens het Arts/Science-onderzoeksproject VIRAGE.

The research project VIRAGE develops methods and sofware prototypes for cultural industries and for the arts, whether they are performing arts, visual arts or installations. The consortium is composed of art centers, universities and innovative companies from France and Belgium. These 3 days of lectures, workshops, performances and exhibitions will present the end results of the project.
