Clarice Calvo-Pinsolle’s work focuses on the creation of immersive environments at the intersection of sound, sculpture, and performance. She develops hybrid installations that act on perception and engage the body in experiences that are both sensory and political. Her installations are conceived as spaces of pause and release — environments designed to allow the body to settle, slow down, and open itself to a slow and introspective form of listening.
Rooted in a reflection on sound ecology, her practice explores the relationships between body, matter, memory, and forms of coexistence. Listening lies at the core of her work. Inspired by research around Deep Listening, she seeks to activate forms of sensitive listening that engage the whole body in a more conscious relationship with what surrounds us and what inhabits us.
