A Fusion journey

Real objects with your computer : A Fusion journey

This series of four workshops will give you a comprehensive and easy-to-follow introduction to the Fusion design software. Each session focuses on a specific aspect of modeling while linking it to a machine in the fablab (please note: this isn’t a training course on how to use the machines):

General program :

  • Software basics, key principles, 2D sketching and constrains.
  • Parametric 2D design and laser cutter.
  • 3D design and 3D printing.
  • 3D assembly design and CNC milling machine.

Feel free to come with questions, specific requests, or modeling ideas!

Practical info

The workshop takes place over 4 Saturdays in June, from 10:00 to 18:00.

Xavier speaks both English and French.

  • Bring your own laptop
  • You must install Autodesk Fusion before joining the workshop
  • The training is begginer-frendly. Please note that you need to be comfortable with computers, as it's still a relatively complicated piece of software.
