Workshop by Marcelo Armendáriz

10h - 17h —
Spark AR Workshop (BASIC & ADVANCED) by Marcelo Armendáriz

BASIC: 10H - 12H30
The Basic Workshop is aimed at beginners who have never used the software (Spark AR Studio) and want to make their first filter, for this the workshop is divided into two parts.

First, the software, its interface and its way of working, we will review the types of filters and what elements we can use to create them, such as Textures, 3D Objects, Particle System, Materials and Lighting. Also an introduction to the Patch Editor, which allows us to visually program interactions for our filter

The second part is totally practical. The goal is for each participant to think and create a face filter, putting into practice what we review in the first part and dispelling any doubt that appears along the way.

Finally we will see how to preview the filter on our cell phone and the process of uploading it to our instagram account.

ADVANCED: 14H-17H
In the advanced workshop the focus will be on deepening the Patch Editor, the Spark AR visual programming system, including its logic, workflow and data types, to generate more complex interactions, animations and modify textures and colors by creating our own shaders.

It is a practical workshop where we will see everything mentioned through different examples.
