NIGHT LAB
Night Lab is an evening event offering visitors the chance to discover the creative and experimental spaces of iMAL’s Fablab.
The Fablab is a shared workshop where spaces and digitally controlled machines are made available to members. It is one of the first of its kind in Brussels and the only one to exist in an artistic context.
You will be able to discover the projects developed by the Fablab’s community of artists in the form of a wide variety of installations. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Fablab and see the digital manufacturing machines used to create them (digital milling machine, laser cutter, 3D printers, etc.).

DEMO CNC BY PIERRE ÉMILE GÉRARD
Belgian artist Pierre Émile Gérard is a regular member of iMAL’s Fablab. During this activity, he will give a live demonstration of how to use the industrial CNC milling machine. This impressive machine is used creatively at the Fablab to produce engraved images. The audience will be invited to use the software developed by the artist for creative applications of the CNC.
