We are happy to share the results of the EU Digital Deal project, in which iMAL participated! Three years of collective research on how the accelerated, yet at times unconsidered adoption of new technologies can alter or undermine democratic processes.
We've launched The Digital Futures Action Plan - an interactive guide and archival repository of all activities and projects developed during the three years of the project.
Explore the challenges and action areas for creating the digital futures we want, through artistic projects, exhibitions, conferences and other formats that explored these topics in depth.
Besides translating the insights of our project into action points for policymakers, the Digital Futures Action Plan is designed for anyone to easily cluster and search activities, and dive into their areas of interest.

Culture Codes Democracy, the final publication of our EUDD project, is out!
The book advocates for the role of artistic and cultural critique in reimagining the ways in which society produces and is produced by new technologies. Using concrete examples of artistic and cultural practices, it presents contributions the cultural sector already makes towards more considerate approaches to technological innovation, and outlines a vision of how the sector can become a key actor in shaping Europe’s path towards digital sovereignty.
