Art and Technology: Towards Regenerative (Post-)Digital Creation

Rather than adding another layer of innovation to hyperproduction, we propose to explore the paths of digital degrowth and to try and reinvent the social function of digital creation.

How can we produce works that regenerate rather than deplete? How can we foster a digital literacy that is empowering, especially in contexts where technology provokes distrust or rejection, and where its extractive usage causes actual damage? How can we rely on DIY methods, trial-and-error approaches, and the sharing of knowledge to help everyone understand and appropriate these tools? How can we create a slower, more open, and more sustainable digital world — one that we inhabit rather than merely consume?
