According to the legend of the Prague Golem, the Maharal animated his clay servant with the powers of the letters E-M-E-T. Both a protector and a threat, the golem embodies the mythical ancestor of the AI, moved by code and information. During their residency at iMAL, the artists will go through an experimental process combining modeling on clay, 3D scanning and digital texture work. E-M-E-T will propose an interpretation of the hidden part of human labor behind AI, making the revelation of the invisible its main subject.

Dylan Cote and Pierre Lafanechère are two artists based in Paris, mainly working on digital technologies, there social issues and their aesthetical potential.
