iMAL is proud to announce the appointment of Lucía García as the new General Director of iMAL, Art Center for Digital Cultures and Technology in Brussels. She will take up her role starting the 16th of August.
García succeeds Yves Bernard, who founded iMAL in 1999 and drove this pioneering project towards a unique institution in the European cultural landscape.
Actively involved in the cultural sector for more than 25 years, Lucía García was until recently the Managing Director of LABoral Art & Industrial Creation Centre in Gijón, an international reference in the art and technology field. Lucía García will enrich iMAL with her international experience in the specific field of art, science, technology and society.
