BEAMBREAKER - First Movement

BEAMBREAKER, a work for laser, light, bent mirrors and sound, is a performance that deals with volumetric audiovisual objects emerging from tight synchronization between broken light beams and sounds waves. These objects are multistable - as we observe them, we are not sure if we are listening to the sound of moving light structures or if we see an embodiment of sound, or maybe something in between? Within the poetic space of BEAMBREAKER, all these interpretations are equally valid. This ambiguity mixed with cross-fertilising effect of sound and visuals offers a very personalised experience of audiovisual reality.

At this occasion Tadej Droljc will present only the first movement of Beambreaker (cca 16min) that will be carried out with sound and video projection only.
